Many people think that architecture is a very glamorous and ‘atas’ job. In some ways it is, but in many ways it’s also not. The design and construction of a building is a long process and the responsibilities can be heavy but the rewards of creating a great space is immeasurable. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
Very much so. In fact I was into photography even before I started my journey in architecture. Photography has helped me notice details in the things around me that I otherwise might have missed out. Shooting interesting buildings and my own work has also helped me to appreciate architecture even more.
It’s mainly the car that gets the family around. We travel across the island quite a bit and my wife also uses the car for work, so the car needs to be dependable, spacious enough for all our stuff and, of course, be fun to drive (laughs).
Funnily enough, this is our second X3. We had the previous model and had changed to this new one when it was time to let the old one go. Yes, I do enjoy how BMWs drive and I must say the X3 is a great car for all intents and purposes.
I like cars and I enjoy my time on the road, so I do place an importance on how a set of tyres feel on the move. But beyond the feedback and grip that the tyres give, it’s also the assurance that my family, my car and I are in good hands every time we’re out on the road.
These are actually my second set of Bridgestone ALENZA 001 rubbers. I love the fact that they’re quiet and smooth on the road and most importantly, they provide an assurance even when I push the car a little. I enjoy driving and there are times that my journeys can get a bit ‘spirited’ and it’s good to know that the ALENZAs are not only comfortable, but they have good progressive grip too. The perfect all-rounder tyre!
